House of de carteret is a family owned business by two sisters Elsa Robyn and Valery Jeanne.

Between us we carry the knowledge passed down from generation to generation. Originating back to the 18TH CENTURY in France.

Recipes, patterns, techniques, are all made the traditional way to assure you receive the best quality as that has been passed down.

 

 

Like most soapers, Elsa got started making natural soaps because commercially produced soaps made her itch and rash. Even so-called hypo allergic soaps could still make her break out in rashes. Elsa was tired of having itchy, rashy skin and wanted to find an alternative to what she could purchase commercially in stores.

Now House of de Carteret make fine, handmade soap and products for bath and body, beautifully scented with pure essential oils or fine fragrance oils. Located west of Sydney, we are a family-run company, making all of our products by hand.

We pride ourselves on all natural ingredients. Everything from the oils used, to the all natural essential oils used to scent our soaps derive from nature. When you purchase a bar or a bottle of soap from us, you know you are getting an excellent, all natural product for a good price.
